Michel A. Poirier

As Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of JTI-Macdonald Corp., Mr. Poirier is responsible for the development and implementation of the company's overall strategic business plan and the overseeing of day-to-day operations. Most recently, Mr. Poirier held the position of Vice President of Sales.

Prior to joining the company in 1998, Mr. Poirier held senior management positions with various companies in the consumer products industry. He held the position of Vice President, Sales and Marketing with Revlon Canada Inc. and prior to that was Vice President of Sales with Johnson and Johnson Inc., Consumer Products Division.
