Martin Tremblay, 40, President and Chief Operating Officer - Ubisoft in Montreal

Martin Tremblay was named President and Chief Operating Officer in September 2000. His objective : make the Montreal production studio one of the best in the industry by developing interactive games of high quality to surpass gamer's expectations. Some of those titles are Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell, Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six, Prince of Persia and Far Cry Instincts. With its 1500 employees, Ubisoft in Montreal is the most important development studio in the Ubisoft group and the second globally.

Mr. Tremblay joined Ubisoft in 1999 as Executive Vice President. He worked within the manufacturing industry and in international project management. He has a degree in Business Administration from the " Université Laval à Québec " and a master's in Business Administration (MBA) of the " Université de Sherbrooke ".

Martin Tremblay is known as one of the most efficient and respected managers in the video game industry, he is at the helm of one of the world's most important and recognized development studio. In December 2003, due to the success of the projects made by the Montreal studio, he was named Personality of the Month by the " Fédération Informatique du Québec ". In 2004, he was named Business Personality Canada-France.

He is on the boards for the Montreal Metropolitain Board of Trade and the French Chamber of Commerce in Canada and Cybercap. In addition, he is member of the Young President's Organization (YPO).
