Philippe brings over three decades of experience focused on accelerating and scaling the transition to clean, resilient and affordable energy. He is the Founder and President of Dunsky Energy + Climate Advisors, where he has the honour of leading a first-rate team of 65 professionals. Headquartered in Québec and founded in 2004, Dunsky supports clients among North America’s clean energy leaders.
As a trusted adviser to both executives and policymakers, Philippe helps organizations chart the course toward decarbonization without losing sight of economic imperatives. His experience spans the full array of solutions across both energy supply and demand (buildings, mobility and industry). His work in the energy transition is informed by three decades of experience assessing markets, designing policies and programs, conducting techno-economic studies, building regulatory frameworks and defining market strategies. He is regularly called as an expert witness at regulatory proceedings.
Philippe is notably adept at storytelling and is a recognized thought leader with a unique ability to bridge technology, market, regulatory and policy spheres. He is a sought-after speaker, an experienced board administrator and is regularly appointed to public interest advisory committees. In 2023-24, Philippe served as Chair of the Canada Electricity Advisory Council and previously served as the Chair of the Québec Government’s Electrification Working Group. Philippe is currently the Co-Chair of Efficiency Canada and serves as an Advisor to the Clean Economy Fund and to Electrifying Canada, among other positions. Philippe was recognized in 2021 as one of Canada’s Clean50 leaders, and in 2022 as one of North America’s Top 100 Impact CEOs.
Eric Gauthier is Chief Executive Officer and General Manager of TES Canada. Prior to joining TES, he was Principal and Head of Capital Markets for Power Sustainable Capital’s Energy Infrastructure fund.
Eric started his career at Power Corporation of Canada where he underwrote and executed private equity investments in the renewable and sustainability sectors. During his tenure, he participated in the build-out of over 2 GW of solar, wind, and hydroelectric projects in North America and invested close to $2Bn in companies such as Potentia Renewables, Nautilus Solar Energy, the Lumenpulse Group, the Lion Electric Company, and Eagle Creek Renewable Energy.
Stéphanie Trudeau is Executive Vice President Quebec at Énergir since January 2020. She oversees gas distribution and development activities in Québec and plays a leading role in the strategic thinking focused on establishing how Énergir can participate in the development of a more sustainable economy for its customers and for Quebec society.
Appointed Vice President in October 2012, she was given responsibility for sustainable development and public and governmental affairs, then quickly were added marketing and customer services. She was then promoted to Senior Vice-President, Regulatory, Customers and Communities in December 2016. A reorganization in June 2018 gave her new responsibilities as Senior Vice President for Customers and Operations vice-presidencies, which include sales, marketing, customer services, new construction, engineering, geomatics, network maintenance, and regional business offices. A communication expert and seasoned strategist, Stéphanie previously was Vice President, Public Affairs – Québec at Labatt Brewing Company Ltd., Director, Public Affairs at the SAQ.
Stéphanie chairs the board of Énergir, chaleur et climatisation urbaines (ECCU). She is a member of the board of directors and outgoing president of the Fédération des chambres de commerce du Québec (FCCQ). She is a member of the Board of Directors of FitSpirit, of the Advisory Committee of the JCCM, ambassador for Carbone Scol’ERE and ambassador founder of La Ruche Montréal, a crowdfunding organization.
In 2016, Stéphanie received the Medal of the National Assembly of Quebec. In 2020, she received the Prix Femmes d’affaires du Québec in the “Cadre, dirigeante - entreprise privée” category presented by the RFAQ and the “Personnalité EnviroLys” award presented by the CETEQ. In 2021, Stephanie was the recipient of the Clean50 Sustainability Award recognizing her as one of 50 leaders who have played a leading role in advancing sustainability in Canada over the past two years.
