Mission & Vision

The Canadian Club of Montreal, also known as the Cercle canadien de Montréal, is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting dialogue and the exchange of ideas among leaders in the Montreal community. Founded on October 6, 1905, by John A. Gunn and W.H.D. Miller, the club has a long-standing tradition of hosting luncheon conferences, a practice that has continued for over a century.

As a registered non-profit entity under the number 1143481589, our mission is to foster the growth and development of our community through conferences, events, and educational initiatives. Our members, both men and women, primarily come from the business and professional community and represent a cross-section of the Montreal public.

Since our inception, we have organized over 2,000 luncheon conferences that have allowed thousands of participants to benefit from enriching discussions and professional networking. Distinguished speakers from various fields, including business, politics, sports, culture, and international affairs, have shared their insights on current events and public interest topics, effectively chronicling the history of Montreal, Quebec, Canada, and the world through our events.

All funds raised are directly reinvested into our programs and initiatives to continue providing personal and professional development opportunities to our members and the Montreal community. Our goal is to continue making a positive impact on our community by offering a platform for the sharing of knowledge and inspiration.
