Decarbonization and Energy Transition: A Québec Perspective

The energy transition and decarbonization are unfolding in an uncertain global context. The reasons to act are clearer than ever: the climate crisis is intensifying, energy demand is accelerating, and the economic opportunities of the transition are becoming increasingly evident. Yet progress remains hindered by the political environment, social tensions and public acceptance of projects, the regulatory framework, and economic risks. Context, findings, levers, opportunities: how can we move forward despite these headwinds?
The panel will be moderated by Stéphanie Grammond, editorial writer-in-chief of La Presse.
