Biography

Marc Bedard has always been passionate about technology, innovation and finance. In 2008 he founded Lion Electric, and soon after set the company on the path to zero-emissions by committing to an all-electric heavy-duty and medium-duty vehicle product portfolio. Under Marc’s leadership, in 2016 Lion developed and introduced the first purpose-built all-electric school bus in North America, the LionC, and has since rapidly expanded its product portfolio to a full line of all-electric trucks and buses. Driven by passion and continuous innovation, Marc applies the rigor and resilience he learned attaining a black belt in Kyokushin Karate to lead his team toward the development of products and services that bring concrete results and positive change to society.
